All You Need To Know

Hopefully we have answered most of your questions below, please do get in contact if theres anything else you'd like to know!

Where do you depart from?

We pick up and drop off from the main pontoon in Exmouth Marina, EX8 1DU

Do we need to have any boating experience?

No experience necessary, we provide a safety briefing before each trip to get you use to the boat and lifejackets.

`What do we need to bring?

In summer months we recommend bringing a light coat just incase, drinking water and any snacks or lunch depending on your trip. Swimming wear if you fancy a dip. Suncream. In colder months, wrap up warm ideally with a windproof coat.

What if it's poor weather?

We still run in light rain, we suggest wrapping up in waterproofs and enjoy the experience!

If its too windy in the wrong direction we might be confined to the River Exe Estuary, however theres still plenty to explore!

Do you have toilets?

Toilets are available nearby, there are also a choice of local bars and cafes to choose from

Can we bring food?

Yes of course, we recommend bringing picnic on private charters to enjoy around the bow table.

Where can we park?

The nearest car park is Camperdown Terrace, EX8 1EJ. Only a 3-4 minute walk to the Marina. Parking payable on the ticket machine or via RingGo; code 42950.

If Camperdown is full, the next carpark would be Imperial Road Car Park EX8 1DB which is a 8-10 minute walk also payable over RingGo; code 42920.

There is free roadside parking down Victoria Road however you'd have to be lucky to find a spot!

Can we bring furry friends?

Dogs are more than welcome on private charters, on group charters we ask you check before hand. Sometimes are very own Cockapoo might be onboard!

What if I'm late?

We unfortunately cannot delay our boat trips, the pontoon is very busy throughout summer and has to be cleared promptly for other water uses. We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early to leave time for parking, toilet breaks and finding us. We cannot refund if you miss your slot, if we have availability we'll do our best fit you on later than day.

What shoes shall I wear?

Please arrive in clean soft shoes such as trainers, flip flops or flat soled grippy shoes. No heels or work boots.

Is anyone not allowed on boat trips?

We advise against pregnant people or anyone with medical conditions which the bouncy nature of the boat could affect.
